Hi, I’m Nuur—or at least, that’s the name I’ve chosen to represent this journey. “Nuur” means light, glow, and transformation. It’s that indescribable shift when something about you changes, and suddenly everyone around you notices it. That feeling of walking into a room, and people see you glowing, even if they can’t quite figure out why—that’s what Nuur is all about.

How NUUR Cosmetics Was Born

NUUR Cosmetics didn’t start with a business plan; it started with me—a young woman just like you—trying to navigate my way through the overwhelming world of beauty standards. I always believed my eyes were my strongest feature. They say eyes are the windows to the soul, and I truly felt like they were my way of making connections with people. Because of that, I was always careful about what I used around them. I didn’t want to just look good—I wanted to enhance what was already there.

When I moved to the UK at 23, I quickly noticed how popular false eyelashes were. I tried them, just like so many others, wanting to feel that glamorous transformation. But instead of enhancing my look, they felt heavy and uncomfortable. The strips would peel off at the edges, and I was constantly adjusting them. Every time I looked in the mirror, I felt like something wasn’t right. Eventually, I gave up on falsies altogether.

A Small Bottle That Changed Everything

That’s when things took an unexpected turn. A doctor I knew recommended a product called LashMD, something he was selling in his clinic. He gave it to me as a gift, but honestly, I didn’t think much of it at first. I had no faith that a tiny bottle of serum could do what it promised. But eventually, curiosity got the best of me, and I gave it a try. I took some “before” photos, applied the serum, and waited.

At first, I didn’t notice much. But then, about a month in, something amazing happened. My boyfriend started complimenting my lashes every single day. Friends were asking what I had done differently.
