Biotin is one of the best-known ingredients in hair care.

Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 goes further by linking biotin to a short peptide sequence.

Why did we choose it?

Because biotin-linked peptide technology has been investigated in advanced hair formulations for its role around the hair and its anchoring environment.

We did not want to add ordinary biotin, print “BIOTIN” across the bottle and call the formula advanced.

Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17: chosen with lashes in mind

This is one of the most important ingredients in Nuur Lash.

Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 is a five-amino-acid peptide attached to a fatty chain.

Why did we choose it?

Keratin.

Your eyelashes are predominantly keratin fibres, and Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 has become particularly relevant to lash formulation because of its relationship with keratin-focused cosmetic research.

Published human research has tested finished eyelash serums containing Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17. In one 90-day study, a multi-ingredient serum containing the peptide produced improvements in lash length, thickness, volume, lustre and curl.

That was not a Nuur Lash study, so those results are not ours.

What the research does show is why Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 belongs in a serious lash formula.

Oligopeptide-10: because the lash line matters too

The third peptide is Oligopeptide-10.

It is a short bioactive peptide built from naturally occurring amino acids, with skin-conditioning and antimicrobial functions recognised within cosmetic formulation.

That matters because a lash serum is not applied halfway down your lash.

It sits directly along the lash line.

We wanted the formula to consider both the lashes and the area being treated every night.

Is there real science behind peptide lash serums?

Yes.

Peptide-led lash formulas are not simply a marketing trend.

A 2024 human clinical study followed women using a peptide and glycosaminoglycan-based eyelash serum for 12 weeks. Researchers reported statistically significant increases in eyelash length, number, width and volume compared with baseline.

Again, this was not a Nuur Lash trial, so those percentages are not Nuur results.

But it supports the formulation route we chose: a non-prostaglandin, peptide-led approach can be a serious strategy for improving the appearance of natural lashes.

Why Nuur Lash is completely prostaglandin-free

Nuur Lash contains no prostaglandins and no prostaglandin analogues.

That was intentional from the beginning.

The UK Office for Product Safety and Standards has investigated prostaglandin analogues used in eyelash cosmetics and highlighted their pharmacological properties.

Then, in February 2026, the European Commission's Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety published its final scientific opinion on three prostaglandin analogues used in eyelash and eyebrow cosmetics.

None of the three substances assessed could be considered safe for that cosmetic use on the evidence available.

That does not mean everyone who has ever used a prostaglandin-containing lash serum will experience a problem.

It does mean the ingredient choice deserves serious thought when something is being repeatedly applied next to your eyes.

Nuur Lash is ophthalmologically tested

Anyone can write “gentle” on a product page.

We wanted testing behind it.

The finished Nuur Lash Serum underwent a four-week ophthalmological application study carried out by SKINLAB P.S.A.

Twenty women aged 22 to 63 took part. The study group was recorded as having sensitive skin, and participants used the finished Nuur Lash Serum while under the care of an ophthalmologist and dermatologist.

After four weeks:

90% reported no burning, itching, dryness or foreign-body sensation.

95% reported no tearing.

95% reported no eyelid irritation.

95% reported no eye redness.

No moderate or heavy signs were recorded in these categories.

The report recorded irritation-related effects in 2 of the 20 volunteers, with no eye irritation observed in the remaining volunteers.

Nuur Lash also has a formal Cosmetic Product Safety Report prepared by Oxford Biosciences.

The assessment considered the finished formula, exact ingredient concentrations, exposure, toxicology, microbiological quality, preservation and intended use.

Its conclusion states that the product is considered safe for human health when used under common or reasonably predictable conditions and according to the supplied instructions.
